Camp Oliver, Changing the World, One Camper at a Time.
"Camp Oliver provides a safe, caring, environment for all children, youth, and adults, so they can appreciate and value themselves, others and the natural world around them." - Camp Oliver Mission Statement
Camp Oliver is located minutes east of San Diego and provides a unique camp experience for children and adults with residential one week camp sessions, day camps, and fun day events for the whole family. Camp Oliver is also available for retreat groups in the winter and spring and provides facilities for a variety of youth and adult clubs, organizations, and groups that want to create a special get-away in the beautiful Cleveland National Forest. Camp Oliver is easy to find, just one mile off Interstate 8 at the Julian/Cuyamaca 79 Exit, yet far enough away from the city for all ages to enjoy some needed peace and quiet.
As one of the oldest summer camps in San Diego County, Camp Oliver has been a part of families for generations who come from all parts of the country and beyond. Each person (child or adult, young or old) becomes part of the Camp Oliver family as they make lasting friendships and develop a wealth of new skills and interests. When children discover the wonder and excitement of nature, they learn something special about themselves in the process. Over the years, many campers have returned as staff members, board members, alumni, and even donors! With outstanding weather throughout the year, the area offers some of the very best spring and summer camps and activities for all children, youth, teens, and adults. In addition to Camp Oliver’s unique camps for kids, the property doubles as a terrific choice for companies and organizations looking for a facility to have youth or business retreats, team-building classes, family reunions, and leadership conferences. Since 1949, Camp Oliver has been a favorite.
